First Steps ~ Come Meet Us

Leaving your dog in someone else's care is not an easy decision. We offer private tours Monday-Thursday mornings to get acquainted with you and your pup.
Don't forget to bring your dog! Plan on spending approximately 15 minutes here. We go over the dog's routine, schedule, and appointment hours. We are more than happy to answer any and all of your questions.
We will meet you outside and begin in the backyard. Your dog will meet some of our guest dogs and we will observe their behavior in a group setting. Next we work our way through the upstairs level of our home. You are able to see our set up and where the dogs spend most of their time when staying with us.
Setting & Atmosphere
Play all day ~ Cuddle all night
No crates, No Kennels, No Separation
Canine Comforts offers all day play time outside in our fully fenced in backyard. Tons of playing fetch, chase, and wrestling. Dogs can freely come and go from the kitchen to the backyard as they please. We begin the day outdoors and gradually open up the rest of the common areas as the day progresses.

We have shade sails covering our patio and a 12 x 14 pavilion for those pups who want to be outside, but like to hang out in cooler spaces. Afternoon naptime takes place in the living room where we have multiple couches, chairs, and riser beds for dogs to settle down and take a break.

Canine Comforts supplies food bowls, toys, treats, memory foam dog beds, and riser beds. Dogs are fed separately and bowls are washed after every meal. There are six 2.5 gallon gravity waterers available at all times. These waterers are washed at every refill.

We run one pack. This means our boarders and our daycare dogs comingle during the day. We do not crate, separate, or rotate play groups. Dogs must be well-socialized in an open play setting. We have a zero tolerance policy for aggression.
